The Office of Elementary and Secondary Education of the U.S. Department of Education (ED) invites you to participate in the Federal Technical Assistance Workshop Day: Strong Partnerships, Successful Students in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The workshop day is conveniently scheduled on October 26, 2011, just prior to the opening of the 42 nd Annual National Indian Education Association Convention.
This event aims to build the capacity of teachers, leaders, parents, and other stakeholders to access and utilize ED programs to promote college and career readiness and to close the achievement gap between American Indian/Alaska Native students and their non-Native peers.
Registration is FREE for this event.
